Trigger Warning- This book contains some violence and speaks about traumas our characters experienced in their pasts. Human trafficking is mentioned as it pertains to indentured servants during this time, But I don’t go into explicit details. If you are squeamish, you might want to skip part of chapter 25, between the first and second screen breaks, as our characters witness the results of a ‘pirate’s justice, when they step aboard the pirate ship. Forgive me, it was relevant.
